WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?
Contact SEAT and register your support. SEAT will then
provide you with campaign updates by email or post.
• Organise a SEAT meeting in your own local area. SEAT will
assist you in this and in the setting up of local sub
committee responsible for your own individual community.
SEAT representatives will be delighted to attend meetings in
an advisory capacity and help you with this.
• Keep in contact with SEAT representatives in your area
• Look up www.seatactiongroup.com for news - the website
is updated frequently
• WRITE A FORMAL LETTER OF OBJECTION TO
PLANNING WHEN PLANNING PERMISSION IS APPLIED
FOR - SEAT representatives will be willing to assist with
these letters
• Several thousand letters will be required when planning
permission is applied for by NIE
• Letters can be written on behalf of children in your
household - every member of your household can write a
separate objection letter.
• Frequent visitors to your home (e.g. relatives & friends) can
object in writing
• Contact your local councillors, MLAs, MEPs, the Utility
Regulator and Planning Service to register your objection to
the overheading of this line - however note that you will still
need to make a formal objection to Planning Service once
