The Mid Armagh Community Network dancers with the vast array of silverware picked up throughout the year. SG3726
MARKETHILL-based Ulster Scots group Mid Armagh Community Network - now in its 10th year of organisation - has unveiled classes which will begin shortly.
And if you wish to learn a new skill in music and/or dance, the tutors will make you most welcome.
Dancers compete in various competitions throughout the year and regularly have significant success at Portadown Festival.
Those learning the fiddle can progress through to exam level and also to the Markethill Ulster Scots Orchestra which play at events throughout Northern Ireland.
Classes are supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the Ulster Scots Agency and Awards for All.
If you, alternatively, have time on your hands and wish to volunteer in the running of the organisation, please come along at enrolment and have a chat with any of the management committee.
