A PORTADOWN dog owner has appealed for the return of her much-loved pet St Bernard 'Mojo'.
The two-year-old disappeared close to his home at Derrycarne Road in Portadown on Saturday, September 13, and since he requires daily mediciation, owner Heather McReynolds is desperate to see him returned.
She told the Ulster Gazette that Mojo - who was formerly a mascot for the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - was only out of sight for a few minutes before her boyfriend realised he was gone.
“There were some workmen in the area at the time, and I'm hoping that maybe they saw something, or if they took Mojo they will bring him back," said Heather.
She adopted Mojo after he was found having been mistreated. He was in bad shape because his muscles hadn't formed properly, and some of his joints are also poorly formed.
Heather is asking anyone with information to contact her directly on 077 3410 4566. She is also offering a reward for Mojo's safe return.
