ARMAGH return to action in the All-Ireland League on Saturday (2.30pm).
This will be the first time since New Year's Eve that Andy Hughes' side have faced competitive action.
And they are set a mammoth challenge at home at the weekend when they welcome league leaders Cashel to the Palace Grounds.
Indeed Saturday's opposition are the only team in the league with a 100 per cent record - a worrying statistic for an side who are without a win in the competition since the end of October.
It has been a frustrating few weeks for the majority of the squad as they were left without a game.
But it also proved invaluable for the walking wounded who, while recovering from injuries, have also been able to get some vital game time with the Seconds.
However if Armagh thought the first half of the All-Ireland League was tough - then things are about to get even harder.
In the seven remaining games of the campaign, Armagh are set to face a total of five sides who are currently above them in the table.
Armagh got into Saturday's game with a fully fit squad to choose from.
And that means that influential full-back Johnny Steenson is set for a return to the team after suffering an ankle injury at the start of December.
However it will be up front where the game is won and lost.
Munster sides are renowned for their power in the pack and if Armagh want to give themselves any chance, then this is the department they simply have to win.
And it will be the responsibilty of the front five to lay down the foundations.
The Seconds are at home against Ards Seconds in the second round of the Towns' Cup while the Thirds travel to Ophir Seconds in the league.
