ARMAGH City will be hoping to continue their good form and cash in against Ballymoney United this Saturday.
After a draw against Ballyclare Comrades and an excellent away victory over Carrick Rangers, the Holm Park side are starting to look a much more confident side,
And, with the recent capture of Paul Alexander from Cliftonville and Kenny Kearns from Newry, the City panel has received a much-needed and timely boost.
The return of midfielder Liam Cullen after long-term injury has also added strength to the centre of the park for City.
Confirmed Armagh manager, Gary McKinstry, "I am very pleased with the work-rate, commitment and endeavour of the players in recent matches.
“Games are coming thick and fast and, to be honest, this is the time when we need to buckle down and pick up points in this very competitive league.
“But the players are certainly on the right track, as recent results show,
“I will be looking for more of the same against Ballymoney this Saturday but, once again, this will be a very tough encounter," he warned.
Certainly, the County Antrim side will be no pushovers.
For they defeated Tobermore United 2-0 last weekend and will be looking to improve their own position in the IFA Championship.
Armagh should be at full strength for the clash at Holm Park and, for once, the manager will have a happy headache.
Conor Forker returned to play up front last week and netted a brace of scores against Carrick.
While not scoring in that game, Shea Campbell did lay on the opener and his goal assists are now three in two matches.
Teenager Gavin McParland will also come into contention for a place up front.
Meanwhile, there could be many equations when it comes to the midfield line-up.
Apart from Cullen, Kearns and Cunningham, the experienced Shane McGeown and pacy Brian McCone will vie for starting places.
And with Peter McNeill, Johnny McSorley, Mark Hamilton and Stephen Cusack also pressing to play, it will be interesting to see who eventually lines up for the home side.
The Armagh City v Ballymoney United IFA Championship League game kicks-off at Holm Park, Armagh, this Saturday, November 22, at 3pm.
