Team Manager Mrs Scullin said she was delighted with how preparations have gone for the big game.

“The current senior camogie team are a group of girls who set out in September and decided to commit to the team and see how far we could go in the senior competition.

“The talent among the girls is fantastic and the clubs should be very proud of the skill levels shown by the girls.

“These girls have become a tight knit, determined group who work relentlessly on the pitch to win matches, this was evident in the All Ireland semi final when they beat Borrisokane, Tipperary in their home pitch in extra time.

“The girls showed such great character in this match and it has strengthened them as a group. We are excited about the final and despite a few set backs with injuries we are confident that we will do ourselves justice on Saturday."
