DEPUTY Leader of the DUP Rt Hon. Nigel Dodds MP addressed the DUP Tandragee Branch annual dinner in Tandragee District Hall on Friday evening.
Rev William McCrea, the party chairman also took part on the night in song and Lord Morrow conducted a great auction to raise party funds locally.
Mr Irwin, the Branch chairman said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Nigel Dodds, William McCrea and Maurice Morrow to our annual fund raising dinner.
“Nigel provided a very timely update on the current political climate both in our province currently and across the UK with a focus and update on Brexit.
“Nigel Dodds MP has been a huge advocate for Northern Ireland at Westminster and along with our leader Arlene Foster in continuing to stand up for the rights of our citizens here in Northern Ireland.
“As he explained at our event, the DUP has played a very pivotal role in shaping policy for the entire UK using its influence at Westminster through the confidence and supply arrangement.”
“Nigel reiterated the message that party will not be bullied or forced into any decisions which do not sit comfortably with the people and that continues to be our position.
“I thank Nigel, William and Maurice and indeed our hard working local Councillors for taking time out to attend our annual dinner and wish them well in the days ahead,” Mr Irwin added.
