Lisanally Special School celebrates Safer Internet Day prize

THE Education Authority has announced the winners of its third Online Safety competition via a live video stream to hundreds of primary and post primary schools throughout Northern Ireland.

The announcement was made at a special studio screening organised by C2k and EA tv to promote the Safer Internet Day 2018 theme ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect - A better internet starts with you’.

Lisanally Special School, Armagh were finalists in the Special School Category and were awarded second place in the competition, winning a laptop for their school.

Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, Safer Internet Day 2018 was celebrated globally and the celebration saw hundreds of organisations get involved to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
