EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a tractor fire outside Armagh city this afternoon (Friday, May 9).
The Ulster Gazette understands the fire broke out in the vehicle just as it had finished mowing a field.
According to witnesses two Fire and Rescue Service Appliances attended the incident.
According to the Fire and Rescue Service one Appliance from Holywood Fire Station and one Appliance from Whitla Fire Station attended the incident.
A spokeperson said, "Firefighters were called to reports of a tractor on fire at Mullaghbrack Road, Hamiltonsbawn, Armagh.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels jets and one foam jet to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and the incident was dealt with by 2.37pm."
