ARMAGH fundraiser Willie Nugent paid a special visit to the ‘Friends of the Cancer Centre’ at Belfast City Hospital on Wednesday, December 6, to hand over £300 from the sales of his CD, ‘The Gaslamplighter of old Armagh’ and ‘One Decent Man’.

Willie said: “The response I received after my CDs were mentioned in The Ulster Gazette was unbelievable.

“I would like to thank them so much, especially their reporter Hazel Hammond, hopefully if my CDs sell well over Christmas and the New Year, I will be able to help a lot more charities.

“I have been told a number of my CDs have been sent by people to relatives and friends living abroad as Christmas gifts.

“My CDs are available at the following outlets - The Ulster Gazette shop, Scotch Street; Pet World, Thomas Street; Macari's Newsagents, Lower English Street; Curran's Spar Shop, Cathedral Road; Mulberry Bistro, Cathedral Road.

“If you would like to receive one by post contact Willie c/o Nugent and Gibney Loughall Road Armagh (postage is free),” added Willie.

Willie said he would like to wish everyone who has supported him a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
