MILLENNIUM Court Arts Centre is a fresh and experimental arts centre – focusing on contemporary visual arts.

We develop innovative educational activities and projects for diverse audiences, inviting people of all backgrounds, ages and ability to explore, participate, experience and enjoy contemporary art practices and engage their curiosity in new things.

MCAC has launches into 2018 with a host of workshops, classes and events incorporating a variety of mediums and technique for kids, adults and families.

For adults we are running some of our ever popular classics with Ceramic Techniques, Painting for Pleasure and our one-day Silversmithing class where participants will use soldering techniques.

New to the list this year we are introducing a one-day workshop in both Catalan Willow Platters and a beginners workshop in Digital SLR photography.

Kids are spoilt for choice this term with our ever-popular Messy Mitts and for the little budding artists Arts for Tots, for the technical minded kids we have Lego Animation IPad and a Bricks4kidz – Mining and Crafting workshop which will bring their virtual designs to life or try Black Paper Films! To hone on the drawing skills this year we have introduced Drawing skills for kids and Manga Illustration for teenagers.

FREE family Open Art Days at MCAC are a fantastic introduction to the arts where everyone can enjoy art in a creative environment.

These Saturday drop-in events take place monthly from 11:30/12 -3pm and allow everyone to engage at their own level and at a duration that suits them, whether it be 15 minutes or the entire three hours.
