Armagh beat Galway to reach All-Ireland SFC quarter finals

UNDERDOGS Armagh secured a direct passage to the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals by recording their first ever championship win over Galway at Sean MacDiarmada Park, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday.

And in doing so they became the only non-provincial champions to reach the quarter-finals, after Derry, Dublin and Kerry had topped their respective groups.
