Armagh's Ladies Team Manager Shane McCormack has stepped down - citing work commitments and travel demands.

The announcement was made by Armagh Ladies Gaelic Football Association yesterday (Wednesday, July 26), expressing their regret at his departure.

The LGFA also shared a statement from Mr McCormack, "Due to travel demands and work commitments; I have made the tough decision to step away as manager. I am and always will be very proud of qualifying for Division One football and winning two Ulster titles in my time in Armagh.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Armagh and have made great friends and connections;

"I would like to thank my management team, the players, our FLO's, the Armagh County Board, physios, and masseuses for all the selfless work they did to ensure every need was catered for."

The LGFA said, "Armagh LGFA County Board and players wish Shane and his team best wishes in their future endeavours."
