Spring in the air at Armagh Golf Club

THERE was a touch of spring in the air around County Armagh Golf Club on Thursday, 6th March, as Lady Captain Frances Davidson and Lady Vice Captain Julie McCarten battled it out with their respective teams of trusty ladies from the club in the Nine Hole Match play.

The spring theme ran throughout the evening with an array of beautiful seasonal potted plants sponsored by the Lady Captain as prizes.

Lady Captain Frances warmly welcomed the large number of ladies present and thanked them all for their contribution to both teams making it such a fun day.

Competition secretary Paula McCrory announced the much anticipated result with Lady Vice Captain Julie’s team being the victorious winners by one match on the day!

Lady Captain Frances congratulated the winners and the evening concluded with a potted plant for everyone in the audience.
