Bro Todd is new Worshipful Master

THE Rising Sons of Aghavilly LOL No. 619 had a unique occasion on Thursday, December 1, when the Installation of Officers took place.

Their incoming Worshipful Master, Wor Bro Robert Todd, has a hearing and speech impairment.

That certainly does not hold him back as he is one of the most enthusiastic members of the Lodge. Several visitors attended this event, including the County Grand Secretary and District Officers of Armagh District LOL No. 5.

Wor Bro Todd is also a member of King David’s Royal Knights RBP No. 443 encamped at Aghavilly.

For a good number of years he was part of the colour party of the District Lodge, helping to lead the Armagh brethren at church parades and at the County Twelfth Demonstration.

His other interests include indoor bowls; he plays for his local parish church, St Aidan’s, Grange.

He has also attained a range of IT qualifications, including ECDL modules and Text Processing.
