TUV leader Jim Allister joined Robert Oliver (Portadown), Keith Ratcliffe (Cusher), Brian Moorhead (Banbridge) and Sammy Morrison (Lagan River) as they handed in their nomination papers for the local government elections.
Commenting Jim Allister said: “TUV is running more candidates in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon than ever before, seeking to capitalise in the upsurge in support for the party manifest in last year’s Assembly election.
“I am pleased to offer the people of Cusher, Banbridge, Portadown and Lagan River the opportunity to vote not just for TUV candidates, but for men who I believe will provide them with first class representation on the council and will be able to deliver for them on day to day issues.
“While others refuse to tell you where they stand on the Windsor Whitewash you can be sure that with TUV you have absolute clarity. We will not say one thing before the election and another after. Speak with strength, not weakness, by voting TUV 1 and then transferring to other pro-Union candidates.”
Robert Oliver is a family man with over 42 years experience in business. He knows the opportunities and challenges of running a business in the Portadown area. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Aerial Industries.

Last year, he shocked the political establishment by coming within a handful of votes of capturing a second seat for Unionism in Newry and Armagh.
Brian Moorhead is married to Caroline. The couple have two children, Rebekah and Matthew.
A man with deep roots in the local area, Brian was born and bred in Loughbrickland where he still lives today. He attended school in Loughbrickland and Banbridge.
