CITY of Armagh RFC is gearing up for a big fixture this Saturday coming, August 12, when the first Ulster Senior Women’s Interpro game is played at the Palace Grounds.

The club has been chosen as the home venue for the Ulster squad, playing their opening game against Munster with a 3pm kick off.

There is sure to be a great atmosphere with City of Armagh girls getting in on the action, providing a guard of honour for the teams and ball girls during the match.

Supporters will be able to purchase match tickets at the gates of the club priced at £5, with cash payments preferred. Under 18s will be given free entry to the match.

Prior to the announcement of the Ulster Senior Women’s squad, there was delight that City of Armagh RFC girls Elle Corkey and Kaitlyn Graham had been training with the team and had played in a training match against Leinster Senior Women at Dundalk RFC back in July.

This was a fantastic experience for them and another step up from playing at age grade level at both Ulster and Club in previous years.
